Menopause

Generally, after the age of 40, it is a period of time that is seen in the period of approximately 55 years of age, with the irregularity of menstrual bleeding and the later cessation. Menopause means last menstrual hemorrhage. He spends about a third of his life with the woman during this period; But now, with the longevity of human life, this period is also increasing. It is regarded as a natural phase of life. If menopause occurs before the age of 40, it is called premature menopause.

Menopause, other than the symptoms that should be, can be experienced without any other discomfort. But in this way, the number of women who have undergone this period is only a quarter of women. Some changes that have occurred during this period can adversely affect the woman’s life and prepare the ground for the occurrence of many diseases. This prevents the woman from maintaining the quality of life and a happy life.

As a result of decreased hormone production in the ovary, menstrual bleeding is caused by irregularities. With the reduction of this hormone production, the heat-related areas of the body are affected and the conditions such as sweating and fire suppression occur. This topic is no longer looked at as before. Nowadays menopause is regarded as a disease. Today, women’s ovarian hormones are produced in laboratory conditions. The negativity that may arise in menopause is prevented.

Causes of menopause

The causes of menopause are the reduction of estrogen and progesterone hormones known as femininity hormones. The production of these hormones in the ovaries after the age of 40 is decreasing thoroughly. This leads to menopause.

Symptoms observed in menopause

One of the most noticeable symptoms in the first place is the deterioration of the menstrual order. The amount of bleeding is reduced. Since ovulation is also low, chances of getting pregnant are unlikely. Various disorders are also observed due to the reduction of estrogen hormone. It could be night sweats, fire suppression, palpitations, rash percentages. Only these symptoms may not be in all patients. After 3-5 years as the menopause period progresses, these symptoms begin to decline. In addition, psychological disorders in menopausal are also prominent. There may be tension, anger, depression. Sleep quality has decreased. The decrease in sleep quality is meant to lengthen the duration of fall asleep and to shorten the REM phase of sleep. Apart from these, head and joint pain, sexual reluctance, muscle aches can be seen. All these are classic signs of menopause.

Other symptoms seen in menopause are seen locally. Hearing pain during sexual intercourse is one of them. Because during this period, the amount of fluid that provides the slippery slope of the vacuum is reduced and the vagen becomes dry. The Vagen has been thinned and has begun to lose its elasticity. So during intercourse, pain, burning, irritation and mild bleeding can be seen. It can heal with estrogen treatment. In addition, these findings are less common in people who maintain sexual intercourse.

In the beginning of the long term symptoms are bone melting and cardiovascular diseases. In our site, the bone melting that we examine under another title is also linked to estrogen, which is a female hormone. The reduction of this hormone leads to fractures and losses in the bones. Therefore, estrogen hormone and calcium treatment should be applied. It is the estrogen hormone that causes cardiovascular diseases to be seen in women at a later age. After menopause, this hormone will decrease and the risk of heart disease is increasing. Because low-density cholesterol (LDL) has increased.

Menopause diagnosis

Menopause is not an emerging situation. The changes in the body begin and years later, the woman enters menopause. So this transition period lasts 20 years. At first, ovulation decreases and symptoms such as nocturnal sweating, menstrual irregularities, fever suppression and tension are revealed in the above classical symptoms. These complaints are increased after a period of time and the menstruation is interrupted. If this period lasts more than 5-6 months, the doctor should be consulted and the hormone tests should be done. Thus, estrogen and FSH hormones are checked. These can be diagnosed by looking at the levels in the body. Also, if menstrual bleeding is not occurring for 1 year, menopause is diagnosed. Not all menstrual irregularities or bleeding is not menopause. There may be other underlying causes. Therefore, it must be applied to the doctor.

The above-mentioned negative symptoms arise due to the reduction of estrogen and progesterone hormone. In treatment, these hormones are used and replaced. Thus, a lot of discomfort that will negatively affect the quality of life is corrected or minimized.

The treatment of estrogen is treated in two ways, which is the method of bonding to the mouth or skin. This treatment can be added to calcium and progesterone. The skin must be replaced every 3 days or once a week. The doctor will determine when to change it according to the medication it gives. With estrogen treatment, Alzheimer’s disease and bowel cancer are less likely to be seen. The reduction of cardiovascular diseases is ensured. Contrary to what is known in society, giving estrogen does not cause uterine cancer. Problems such as painful relationship, burning, itching heal in 1 year with the treatment of estrogen.

There are some patients who have not been given estrogen. It is not given to active liver patients. People with uterine or breast cancer must apply to the doctor. Some conditions for giving estrogen to these patients are required. Also, those who have a vascular clotting problem should not use this treatment.

The problem of bone melting after menopause with the issuance of estrogens is also prevented to some extent. This effect is further increased when calcium is added to this treatment.
